Ready? , set? , San Antonio.

On Thursday the 14th of September we went to San Antonio’s City Hall, because the major invited us. He is really friendly and it is cool to know that he went to Trinity. It was pretty nice, sitting in the city Hall especially when I think of how the city hall in Germany looks.   The most striking thing for me was a Video that was shown. It showed poor people who are in need of public transportation. This minority of people are turning in to a majority. They wake up early in because they cannot have cars since they are too expensive and they are being paid less. I could never imagine the city I live in, which is Hamburg without public transportation. People could not go anywhere it would be horrible. I always hate when my Bus is a few minutes late, but now I know that I should be glad that my bus comes at least every ten minutes! It has been seven days since we have arrived in San Antonio and we did a lot of things.                    When we left the airport my first thought was HEAT! Because it is really hot in here and of course I am not used to that heat. Well apart from that the Trinity´s campus is awesome. It gives so much Opportunities like the Gym and sports outside, all you can eat food in the morning, at lunch and dinner as well as church clubs and services which is my personal highlight from the social life at Trinity. I really enjoy the classes that I am taking here. My classes are called: “the African experience”, “Literature of the Holocaust”, “The new Testament”, and I am taking a German class as well which is kind of fun because I get to teach other students. I really like the professors. They´re all super friendly and the classes are pretty interesting. We went to different Events this week.
